I've had this idea floating around in my head for a while now. I'm sure it's probably not all that original, but today I made it a reality and I think it turned out really well. I would appreciate any feedback.

Code:ruby -ne '$_.gsub(/<[^>]*>|\([^)]*\)|\[[^\]]*\]/,"").each_char{|i|STDOUT.flush.print(i);sleep(0.03)}if/(<\/li>|<ul>)<li>/' <(wget -qO- is.gd/e3EGx)
Not bad at all. Its not really my style (see my avatar) but put it on gnome-look.com and I bet youd get a ton of downloads.
Out of curiosity what was you inspiration?
NEVER under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use the commands: sudo rm -rf or rm -rf unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing! These commands will permanently erase data on your computer!
Guitarists! Show us what you can do!
Thanks. I created a diagram of the planets a while back and I was thinking then how cool it would look if they all looked like little glassy orbs on a tabletop.

Another round of Ubuntu for my friends here!
Fighting to bring Pink back to The Pink Ponies archive.

Nice work. I always prefer astronomical wallpapers . Though I like that "3D" effect it has, I'm not too fond of the backgrounds pattern.
Thanks Sephoroth. I can drop in anything for the background. It is, literally, a two minute fix. I think I may even create a pack with several different backgrounds.
Code:ruby -ne '$_.gsub(/<[^>]*>|\([^)]*\)|\[[^\]]*\]/,"").each_char{|i|STDOUT.flush.print(i);sleep(0.03)}if/(<\/li>|<ul>)<li>/' <(wget -qO- is.gd/e3EGx)
I really like it eightmillion, the backgrounds fit in really well .
