Accidentaly added second partition to flash drive.

I was setting up my system to dual boot Ubuntu and openSUSE and while partitioning my hd I some how managed to add a partition to my flash drive. I was able to sucessfully delete all the Ubuntu system files off and reformat the ext3 back to fat16 but I cant figure out how to combine the partitions. They are both fat16 but I cant resize the first partition to take up the whole drive. I'm using GParted. Can somebody help me out with this stupid mistake? Thanks.

Delete the 2nd partition, then expand the first one. Or, just delete both partitions and start fresh.
Why can't life have a sudo apt-get install -f command?
