cs: pcmcia_socket(): unable to apply power.

    Hi,

I have used Ubuntu for a long time on my laptop, working without (much) problems, but now, i don't get on the wireless network anymore.

The light on the network card doesn't burn, so I have reinstalled ubuntu, without succes, and if i do 'recovery', and then go to 'root', and then put the card in, I get this message :

cs: pcmcia_socket(): unable to apply power.

Maby interesting fact : It started to happen when i listened to webradio. In the beginning, if i played webradio, it just went fine, after some weeks it started to fall out, (so my network card light didn't burn anymore, and later it happend when i started the 'totem media player'. Now it doesn't ever go on again

Any idea's on how to fix this? I have tried a format, didn't help...

    Nobody?
Its 2 weeks ago, so I'll bump it again.

PS: I installed windows on the laptop, and the driver for the wlan card, but then it still didn't work (lights on the device weren't lit)
