    Better to do it with the language(s) you know and are comfortable with than to do it in Pyrex and spend equally as long debugging a language you don't know.. everyone knows us programmer's love debugging

    Hi Guys

    I've gotten a little advice on how to use SWIG from the gurus over in the programming section of ubuntuforums so I'm going to try biulding a module to load the md2 models fast with SWIG.

    As a favour can all you guys using the 64 bit ubuntu post you results from running 'uname -r' in your terminal.

    I want to see if there is a way I can detect if your running 64bit ubuntu as I will need to load a 63bit compiled module instead.

    Anyone who fancies compiling that for me when its done would be give a good contribution so I need a volunteer!

    When I get home and pop 64bit Xubuntu on my Windows box, I'll post my results.

    Running 64-bit Xubuntu here.
