    Why?

    Hello,

I removed Ubuntu so I can increase the install size and re-install using the 64-bit iso downloaded off Ubuntu's website. And previously, the loading bar would go to the end and then loaded the log in screen.

But should this only display when you install? It's now showing it each time I boot-up. Is it meant to display it? And it nows boot-ups slower than XP, and before, Ubuntu boots faster. But everything works fine.

    I attached a photo.

    Re: Why?

Yeah, but if for some reason you want to do the whole HD you can use a little tool Called jkdefrag and you can point out the exact folder where Wubi is.

    the link: http://www.kessels.com/JkDefrag/

    Hope it helps

    Re: Why?

Thanks man. I'll try it and see if there is a performance increase when I defrag the drive.

And better boot-up times for both operating systems.

And JkDefrag is so easy to use.

    Re: Why?

Well there no need for the entire HD, just the Ubuntu folder.

    Re: Why?

I defragged the ubuntu folder but it still displays that cmd line-like thing but it boots up quicker. Should I uninstall and reinstall Ubuntu?
