Acerhk and getting it to work

I have tried the suggestions on this web page:

    http://insidethebrackets.blogspot.co...tu-update.html

And I still cannot get the wifi switch to turn on/off the wifi. My computer usually will boot up with wifi enabled. If it doesn't then I have to reboot holding the wifi switch in the on position during the complete reboot process. If when rebooting I am asked for the password, then I know wifi is enabled again.

I really would like to get the wifi switch to work as it should and to have the LED to indicate that the wifi is on or off, right now it stays on al the time the computer is up.

Try out my utility to interface with AcerHK driver.

    http://acerhkgui.sourceforge.net

Also, readme file will give some hints about the LED.

Re: AcerHK GUI -- GUI for users of the 'acerhk' driver to control wireless/bluetooth
Version 0.5 of the AcerHK GUI is now released and available for download on SourceForge!

My main thread here that I post updates is located at the following URL:

I am open to suggestions on what additional functionality I should work into my development plan. I'm not a programmer by trade and this is my first real program... which I happen to be writing as I am learning!
