Hey Everyone,
At my new job, the head IT guy is a big Windows buff and is running A.D. (Active Directory) for the entire company. At work I want to use 8.04 and have joined my Ubuntu machine to the Windows A.D. by following this easy guide.
I am having a problem where my A.D. account has very little local machine privileges. In Windows, the A.D. account is usually listed with the local accounts and I can just give it (the A.D. account) local Administrative privileges. When I checked under System-->Administration-->"Users and Groups" I only see local accounts.
How do I give my own A.D. account local admin privileges?
