[SOLVED] Finding music files on separate hard drive

    Hi,
I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but I am about to place an order for a Dell preloaded with Ubuntu because I am heartily sick of Microsoft and I have a question. All of my music is on a separate hard drive and I play it through windows media player. I'm not very clued up on computers, but I understand that the music player simply knows all of the paths to the many, many hundreds of tracks on the disc. When I get the Dell and get the music player working (I've understood the advice given on that subject to others) will it be able to search for and find all of the music tracks or will I have to find each track or album and add them to the player manually?
Thanks in advance for any help.

First, congrats on your new purchase!
Rhythmbox, the default media player, will certainly work the way you describe. Simply set your library to be the removeable drive, and tell it to automatically find tracks. It should scan and sort them all for you!
Chuck Norris can restore a system from sudo rm -rf /.
    You can't.
