Hi, I installed Hardy 64 bits in my laptop and even though most things work out of the box, I'm having problems with sound which I haven't been able to solve searching the web.
Things that happen:
The drums sound that plays in the log in screen loops three or four times and then it loops some more times much more quietly, for instance.
Furthermore, if I start playing the .ogg video provided in the examples directory with vlc (totem makes it all worse somehow) video plays fine, but sound starts looping loudly (kind of ta ta ta ta...). Closing vlc doesn't stop the noise and I must restart to stop it. Besides, the volume applet doesn't affect those sounds, muting or setting the volume lower there makes no difference.
The output of aplay -l:
And lspci -v:Code:**** Lista de PLAYBACK Dispositivos Hardware **** tarjeta 0: Intel [HDA Intel], dispositivo 0: STAC92xx Analog [STAC92xx Analog] Subdispositivos: 1/1 Subdispositivo #0: subdevice #0 tarjeta 0: Intel [HDA Intel], dispositivo 1: STAC92xx Digital [STAC92xx Digital] Subdispositivos: 1/1 Subdispositivo #0: subdevice #0
