Spilled the Beans
i just tried to install joomla, i used this tutorial: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Joomla and after i typed
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
i got from apache the 500 internal server error, before everything was ok..
any idea what could have gone wrong?

hi, thanx for the answer, i just found out what went wrong.. (had nothing to do with joomla, just a corrupt .htaccess file.. sorry for wasting your time..)
