Okay, I'm a Microsoft user migrating to Linux. And I need a peice of CAD software. I am familiar to ProDesktop and Google Sketchup, so anything like those would be nice. Suggestions please!

Google Sketchup works with a 'helper' program called Wine. Which allows some Windows programs to work on Linux.

Qcad is in the repositories, which is the only mature open source cad program at the moment, albeit 2D. Bricscad is an Autocad clone which is working under Linux, although their Linux version is quite outdated. But they are working very hard to get their latest version running under Linux as well.
Also google for Medusa4... But I never got my head around that thing.
