I think it might turn out to be a decent web browser but its too early to tell. Google Chrome might takes its place as the lightweight browser when the Linux version comes out.

I've always had this crashed and just assumed everyone had it...

I installed Midori from the repos on Ubuntu 8.10, opened it up, and navigated to Gmail. Darn thing immediately crashed.
I think it'll be a while before I consider using it with any regularity.
