Reinstalling Ubuntu

okay I tried to boot for CD Ubuntu started to load ( a bar goes back and forth. then I have the following

BusyBox v1.1.3(Debian 1;1.1.3)-5Ubuntu7)
Type Help for command

(initramfs)
What is that? Should I just take out the hard drive and use it as a paper weight? Thanks....

Thank you all for your help... After walking away from it for a few days, I started all over again. This time I have zero problems. I reformatted my HD and reintall ubuntu evertying is working so far. I most have been doing something really __ before. Thanks again
