Re: Account Lease time / Content filtering

Hey everyone, good news!! In revision #205 I patched timekpr to include support for both Python 2.x and Python 3!

It needs testing of course, but from what I've tested with simple commands and running the gui, it seems it works!

Fortunately we do not use many dependencies, and hopefully we'll be able to test it real-time using python 3 when ubuntu moves to python3 - or if someone else wants to try it. (note: ubuntu jaunty will have python2.6 as default)

I've stripped out the old scheduler plugin from the old versions of deluge-torrent, it could be useful for setting time restrictions. Attaching it for future purposes.

With the up coming release of Jaunty, I'll be updating all my desktops. Are there any special considerations regarding the install of timekpr and it's repositories?

It is alive, I am connected right now.

In your irc-client connect to chat.freenode.net and join the channel #timekpr, at leaste that is what worked for me. I use Konversation to connect.

Not much, except that you will hit Bug #344538.

I am thinking of making a Jaunty repository before the release. I also think I will make a new package with all the fixes so far. It is not much, but some bugs have been fixed and the translations will be included (at least the finished ones. Portuguese, Spanish and Czech still needs some work). I'll see if I can publish a beta this weekend so it can be tested!

I guess it is not in the list? Sadly the only way to join a channel in Pidgin i know, is listing the channels.

That would be great if you could push a new package out before the Jaunty release. It should cut down on the bug reports during the OS transition. I'll wait for timekpr before I start to migrate my target desktops.
