apt-get, check bad form.

I looked for an answer to this question, but am unable to find one:
Is it bad form to use apt:{package name} on the forums, instead of the usual: open a terminal ... apt-get whatever?
I ask because I, for one, don't recommend clicking on links in webpages to install software, and it's not a habit anyone should really ever get into. Which is why I'm asking; anyway, my point is that it's very simple and easy; frequently, you'll see:

Just type

sudo apt-get install package name

To an inexperienced user it's surely easier, and, correct me if I'm wrong, just as secure, to click an "apt:" URL and be presented with a dialog asking to install. I can see it's less secure, in terms of social engineering, and could be a vector for installing unwanted software if partnered with instructions on adding third-party repo for example.
Like,

just add this line to sources.list:
deb ...
and click this, and you will have Compiz with Nvidia Drivers, etc.

So I'm curious as to who uses this -if, I suppose, it's allowed- and if there is no 'real' rule, is it just bad form?

like anything, if your stupid enough to add malicious repos and install malicious packages, your system will get trashed.
