every time i try to install the burning crusade it comes up with this message. 'no installer data could be found'. its an exe file. anbody help would be great. oh and I'm using wine. thanks.

If you have already installed it in Windows, then copy the folder over. That way all the patches will be copied over too.

Are you installing from the original CD media, or from disc images?
What version of Wine are you using?

If you have it installed in a windows partition you can either run it from there or copy it over.
If you are installing from scratch. make sure the disk is clean. Otherwise create a folder and copy the files off the disks to the folder and run the installer from there.
im Ubuntu only and i have downloaded it so i mount it not put on disk
