Downloaded Ubuntu DVD..after mounting says "INVALID CD DETECT"

i downloaded a ubuntu DVD fron the direct link
http://nginyang.uvt.nl/hardy/ubuntu-8.04-dvd-i386.iso

after finishing downloading .i mounted virtually..it says invalid cd detect?

wat to do? is there any problem with site?is there any other site giving ubuntu DVD?

You have to boot to the cd/dvd, meaning you have to burn said cd/dvd, restart your computer and set your boot order to boot to CD before HDD.

It is. It's a self-contained operating system, but it has to be booted.
