    Fork Bombs and 64-Bit

    I just noticed this thread:

    And remember trying a 32-bit fork-bomb on my 64-bit machine a long while back. Does anyone remember such an experience? Did your 32-bit fork-bomb crash your system? Or was the fork-bomb completed and ran out of memory, not crashing the computer?

    There are lots of ways to implement a fork bomb. Most aren't architecture-dependent.
