Right now I have Gnome, but i'd like to switch to xfce. I already have it installed and everything runs fine, except emerald and compiz. How can I switch these over to xfce?

Way Too Much Ubuntu
The whole point of xfce is to have a light weight window manager.
I did it once and and i wouldn't recommend it , they just dont
go well together.

It just looked weird to me, kinda like putting a racing paint job on a Toyota Prius.

In the Xfce menu, go to Settings | Advanced Desktop Settings. This should take you to the Compiz settings manager.
