[SOLVED] Can't view video from website

I am trying to watch live streams from a website - Beakspeak- but I am missing plugins, so it tells me. Shouldn't the movie player auto work for it or is there something I need to do? This is a fresh install, -Hardy- I have codecs installed so I can use amarok. What else am I missing.
I would be greatful for any help. Thanks

Do you have the packages 'ubuntu-restricted-extras' and 'flashplugin-nonfree' installed?

If you know they aren't, or unsure, check in Synaptic or simply run
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras flashplugin-nonfree
One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, speak a few reasonable words...

You might need MPlayer Movie Player & MPlayer Plugin for Mozilla which are conveniently available in applications/Add & Remove/Sound & Video.

    +1, try that.

No eagles in the nest though.
