    [SOLVED] boom crash

    i installed kiba dock and then my pc crashed and i turned it on and it said no operating system found.
    so im useing the 7.10 live cd now
    and when i go to install i get to the step up partishion size nothing is in the box?? did i fry my processor or what?
    XP home,HP 7955,Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1500MHz,35GiB Ubuntu 7.10,Radeon 9250 128MB PCI graphics Card...

    Sounds like your hard disk may have died (or the controller on the mainboard). Check all your connections and make sure all the plugs are plugged in firmly.

    yeah, my hard disk crashed...and i went to swap it for one of the other 4 i got that are all old and crappy to...and the ide broke...pulled the cord out and left the input inside the hard drive...lol i havent touched the hard drive yet tho...i just installed ubuntu on my 30gb win.2000 the one that failed was a 40gb xp...i got x2 of thos and the others r all win 98...
