    Re: temp file cleaner

    The short answer is no.

The long answer is still not that I know of. I HIGHLY doubt that there will be anything that will clean a Windows partition's temp files from a Linux one. I am not really sure that there is even a program that deletes temp files on Linux at all.

Edit: Apparently there is a sort of temp file remover program for Linux, or at least Debian based Linux, like Ubuntu.

    Here's the forum thread.

Files in /tmp are removed at shutdown (or on boot, I forget which).

BleachBit is a temp file cleaner like CCLeaner for Linux. It cleans things like cache, cookies, Internet history, broken shortcuts, etc.

Thank you for that, that programs works great.

What I do is a lot of data backups of windows drives using ubuntu, I just need something to delete the temps on the drive automatically so that I can compare docs and settings folder and know that its not couting temp files and such.
