    Sweet!

    Works perfectly.

    I have been trying hard to think of something else. The only thing else I can think of is a way to display a PGP encrypted email's sender and subject text. Like an option where you could set the path to where your key file is and your password.

    Ideally the best would be a way for conky to prompt your for your password when your script detects an encrypted email. I would not want to keep my PGP password in a conkyrc file. The usage would be like the enigmail extension for Thunderbird.

    I realize this might require some hefty coding, if it is even possible.

    Cheers!

    Can't get feedback with conky, and to be honest that functionality would be a nightmare to develop...I'll release what we have right now

    UPDATE

    Added --port option, change details can be found here: https://launchpad.net/%7Em-buck/+arc...source.changes

    The first post has been updated and the apt package should be available soon

    Cheers

    Yeah I guessed that would be a royal pain to implement. Short of that I can't come up with any other features I would want.

    Still amazed at the quick turnaround time.

    Thanks.

    Got it nailed, I can debug my scripts with ease (eclipse and pydev) and I have scripts to build and deploy any script/app onto my machine for package testing. I then upload the source package when happy to launchpad, which results in a apt package update

    Works really well...

    Re: Conky SSL Email Python Script

    Am I the only one that only wants to know "if" I have mail or not?

    This part of the app has never failed me: 0 or a number for both mail boxes.

    In fact it would be nice if the app could "tell you"

    if x = 0 output "no"
    else
    output "yes"

    and somewhere in the config file, an area to modify the screen output:

    yes="It's gotta be spam!"
    no="No one loves you!"

    Imagine, you could then make a script that rotates different responses.

    yes="You must owe them money?"
    yes="Quick, read it before it melts!"
    no="Not even close!"
    no="In your dreams!"

    Have a nice day.

    Re: Conky SSL Email Python Script

    I'm having a little trouble with the script, I had it working fine then one day couple weeks ago it just quit, nothing changed far as I know, but no more email here are my screen shots and template file:

    Code:
    ${font Terminus:style=Bold:size=9}Google: ${font}[--servertype=IMAP --servername=imap.gmail.com --ssl --port=993 --username=myname --password=mypassword --mailinfo=3]
    ]

    note just tried to add the port option.. no help.
