I'm having trouble installing aircrack-ng on my computer. When I open the archive file (aircrack-ng-1.0.rcl.tar.gz) the file types are unknown. If anyone could tell me how to set it up and install it I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Aircrack/Aircrack-ng are available in the repo. Use your Synaptics Package Manager to install it.Originally Posted by ft566

Thanks for your help. I used the synaptic package manager to install aircrack-ng but I don't know what to do from there.

As for the filetype problem, try to relate the solution with this Aircrack-NG HowTo thread.
Steady movement is more important than speed, much of the time. So long as there is a regular progression of Stimuli to get your mental hooks into, there is room for lateral movement. Once this begins, its rate is a matter of discretion.
