Netgear wg111v2 cant connect to WEP in Hardy(8.04)

Hi,

I have managed to install my wg111v2 wifi adapter with a static ip. As far as i can tell it is up and running ( I can not turn off the WEP on the router so i have nowhere to connect to).

But for some reason i can not connect to the WEP network. I have tried everything i could find. But i cant seem to connect. Has anybody managed to do this yet?

I also seemed to have lost the 8187 native drivers, as the dont seem to be loaded and are not present in the Blacklist file.

I am currently using nwdis ( or whatever that is called ) to run windows drivers.

Something interesting that i noted was that when i installed Kwifi ( or something like that) i could see the network. Could see that it was an Wep network. But my encryption type was none?? And i could not change it.

When i do go to the interface file. The wg111v2is there as wlan0 with a wep key and everything.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
