    Re: Opera Web Browser

Probably wasn't the right word, Hotmail tells me update my browser but won't allow Opera, only IE, FF, or Safari. It does open Hotmail page, but won't allow me read my mail.

Just FYI, a user agent is used to identify a client application. Through modification, it's possible to make one web browser appear as another.

I've never used Opera myself, but apparently Opera has a built-in feature to do just that. Here's a useful list of user agent strings.

    Re: [SOLVED] Opera Web Browser

Just for further information in Opera, Tools/Quick Preferences/Edit site Preferences/Network tab, and at the bottom of that box you can change ID to Firefox, IE, Opera.
