    ipods on kubuntu

ive been using ubuntu for a while and never had any problems with it recognising my ipod. i recently decided to dual boot with kubuntu and decided for no particular reason that i would keep music/videos on kubuntu and my work on ubuntu. however, when i went to update my ipod, kubuntu does not recognise it. any help would be appreciated

    Hi,
When you plug your ipod in, could you open a Konsole and run a dmesg command? This will determine if your system is, in fact, recognizing the ipod. Post the last 10-20 lines of output, if you could.

Also, what are you using to access your ipod? Amarok?

    Regards,
    m.

    Juust in case.
When rebooting, I suggest to replug your iPod.
