I have Ubuntu 8.04 up and running with Twinview so my desktop stretches over two monitors. I would like to be able to auto run a program at startup but so that it is full screen on the second monitor, but so far no luck.

I can auto start the program just fine but it is trying to position it that causes the problems. Can any one suggest a way?

I was hoping that Ubuntu would 'remember' where it was last opened and so put it back there again but it does not seem to do this.
