Vodafone Data Stick problem

Hello,

I have a Vodafone Mobile Connect USB Stick K2540 equivalent to E660. It works fine on Windows XP.

On Ubuntu, i've tried wvdial, it connects, and immediately exits with error code 16, that is, the modem hangs up.

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10

Is there any thing I can do ??

please post your wvdial configuration file here.
Type

cat /etc/wvdial.conf

then copy and paste the result, so we can have some hints to help you.
