He asks numerous questions about what types of softwares you will use, and frowns when you dont give him the answer he was looking for- til finally he just says "plain jane huh", to which you reply, "That's a matter of opinion."

(I actually did this with the Dell people-I already figured out exactly what broke when a client dropped their laptop, but they still didn't believe that I knew how to do anything on the computer until I had proven them wrong).
