any local eeepc users?

I have a 901 Linux eeepc pre-ordered. Anyone around town have any thoughts on Ubuntu on eee, the netbook remix, or just eeepc's in general?

I would like to run some form of Hardy on it for the hardware support (mainly ootb working ps3 controller for emulators).

I got the good ol' 701. I use Ubuntu eee on there with the new PPA interface. It works great!

Have you played any movies on it? Can you say how the quality of divx playback is? Good video performance is the only thing lacking on my new 901.

I have Ubuntu 8.04 on it now and divx playback is great. Battery life is a little less than with Xandros.
