Now, two not nice problems from me the person who is new to UBUNTU..
1# I have Ubuntu, Toshiba, and the movies do not work on on VLC! I had this problem before but I figured it out(somehow).. but I donät know how i did it.. Now, my movie player dos not play any movies!! I am sad!
2# My internet dos not want to work, I got this Mokkula thing from Finland and it dos not want to play on Ubuntu.. I can't do any thing with out the internet connection!!!

If somebody could help I would be VERY happy!!!!
