Yes. That is the reason for having a separate /home. At the partitioning stage choose manual with the radio button and choose to format the /partition, making sure you don't format /home. It should be self explanatory once you see the gui.

So muted, are you saying you already have /home on a separate drive? In which case, the posts above are correct. If you havent, things could get tricky. I suppose you could copy everything over to another partition and reinstall/reformat...
