    Why slackware is so big? It takes a DVD to store ?.?

    Technically you only need the first three CD's if you want KDE. If you want XFCE then you only need the first two cd's. The rest is extras and the source code.

    And you can very well install the base system with just the first one, and add packages afterwards.

    I use just the first CD and only get the other CD's I want (slackpkg, for example)
