    Is it possible to take an animated oject from a web page and put it on desktop?

    I want to have the analog clock on this web page... http://www.peterrussell.com/Odds/worldclock2.swf ...on my desktop.

    Is this possible?

    There is no direct support for this option, but these people seem to have some idea about turning .swf files into desktop-ready stuff.
