    Which laptop's for me?

    Well, I've been holding on to a trusty Travelmate 4000 for about 3 years now(it's four years old, hand-me-down from my dad). It's getting really rusty, and I want a new laptop for my school projects, etc. I wanted a 13"-14" laptop, and I narrowed it down to {Macbook, XPS m1330, HP Pavilion Artist's Edition}. I don't mind a Mac, though, but I would prefer a Debian-friendly laptop. Can you guys help me out?

    i can't get a linux laptop here(kuwait) and ordering it online causes shipping charges which would drive my parents batty..
