    Red face nvidia and compiz seems to be working, but uses 100% cpu.

    I have an nvidia 7600GS running ubuntu 8.04 on my c2d 2.4. I thought everthing was fine, because most effects run smoothly, but then I checked glxgears and got only 2000fps. When I checked top while running glxgears, or while using compiz-effects I saw that it used 100% cpu when doing 3d stuff. Everything seems fine I think, according to the pastes below.

    It should definitely not use 100% cpu though, can anyone help?

    Since I get a lot of that "glxgears isn't a benchmark stuff" I downloaded the uningine sanctuary demo and ran it on default settings. That gave 5.5 fps and 116 in score, which is pure crap. Anyone who can confirm that this is indeed wrong?
