Strange USB Flash memory/AutoFsck problem with 7.04
I'm still running Ubuntu 7.04 that was pre-installed on a Dell Inspiron E1505. Recently, I installed AutoFsck so that I wouldn't have to worry about checking the filesystem when I booted up. However, now I am having trouble with my USB stick and USB-based portable audio player (Samsung Yepp). However, both work on other computers. Further, the SD memory slot works fine, for both pictures and data.
Also, I am now asked every time I shutdown if I would like to check the filesystem, even when it was checked the last shutdown, and even though I set it to check every 40 times.
Has anyone else had any similar problems?
