[SOLVED] Hardy Heron - The top panel (where the time is) isn't docking my dockable ap

    This is confusing me.

I thought it was an error in Pidgin but then Skype and VLC are doing the same.

The only thing that shows up is the Network Connection and Time.

Does anyone have any ideas what I have done? Or even if I have done anything?

Has anyone else got this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy Heron with the latest updates.

Thanks for your quick reply but this was not the answer.

All that did was make another Notification place, still without showing my dock-able apps

    Hmmm.. dunno.

Are your apps configured to dock in the notification area/system tray?

add the window list to the panel (not notification area)

EDIT: yea, never mind, i realize now that you meant the little icon when you close something to the panel
