    mplayer codec issue

    When attempting to play a .mov file I get an error messsage indicated in the screenshot below.
    Any suggestions?

    Do you have the Windows codecs package (called w32codecs) installed? If not, then just add the Medibuntu repository to your software sources list and then install this package.

    downloaded w64codecs since im running 64bits

    This time the audio played, but no video and the same message appeared.

    This program is able to play anything. You can find VLC in the repositories. If it cannot play that file, then the file itself is corrupted.
