Hi,
What is the best way to store a laptop/notebook?
Does it matter that a laptop is stored horizontal or vertical or for example at a 45 degree angle?
Thanks.

Isaac Asimov: "I do not fear computers. I fear the lack of them."
I looked in the book that came with my laptop. What it said was this:
Storing Your PC
If you do not intend to use your PC for a long period of time, disconnect the power plug socket and store your PC in a plastic bag to avoid dust contamination.

As far as positions are concerned, just be consistent. If your laptop is running while stored, the only concern is the bearings in the hard drive. You are better off keeping it to flat and one position so the wear on the bearings is consistent. If you are talking about unpowered, the best position is the one that is least likely to get kicked, stepped on or otherwise damaged.
