Dual Monitors w/ different resolutions and bad virtual sizes.

So I've had dual monitors running just find for about a year now, which has been fine as they were both about the same size and running the same resolution (1280x1024).

My "main" monitor is a 19" LCD, and my secondary monitor was a 17" CRT. I just upgrade the 17" CRT to a 21" CRT with a MUCH higher resolution--2048x1536. I'm using nvidia-settings with the proprietary drivers.

My problem is that Ubuntu will allow my mouse to go off the top of the left screen. Is there a way to "trap" my mouse within my 1280x1024 display on the left, but still allow it to go onto my much larger display on the right? In other words, I don't want to run separate X displays if at all possible.

Here's a picture that should help:

Sorry to bump this, but if this is in the wrong category, would someone please move it for me?

    Thanks!
