    Pc freeze when I conect pendrive/cellphone/mp3/mp4/camera

    I don't speak english I hope you understandme. Pc freeze when I conect pendrive/cellphone/mp3/mp4/camera. It happen in xubuntu 8.04, not in xp, not in ubuntu 5.10, all those in the same pc, why?

    Moved to Hardware section (Desktop Environments is for questions related to the various GUI environments).

    Have you looked through the kernel logs yet? Hot-pluggable devices interact with the kernel before doing anything else, so you may find the error there.
