Not able to change resolution with via cx700m2

    Hi

I have the ebox 4850 with a via cx700m chipset.

My screen is a Samsung SyncMaster 320px, which defaults to 1360x768

I can't change the screen resolution in any way.. Perhaps I have the wrong drivers - I use the stable ubuntu 8.04, shouldn't that be enough?

I don't have gnome installed - using blackbox..

I know that perhaps it is in the xorg.conf - but cannot get it working...

I really need any help you can provide..

    Try this:

    Applications - Accessories - Terminal

    type:
    gksudo displayconfig-gtk

    press Enter.
