problem importing photos

After I import photos straight from my camera, I get the following message:

"Could not move temporary file to local destination. Check folder permissions"

Do you know what this is?

Where are you trying to save the photos to? It has to be somewhere in your home folder.

It's where I keep all my photos and documents, a different hard-drive.
