    Guest Additions wont install on virtual xp

    I have installed virtualbox ok and set up a virtual xp in hardy but when i click devices > install guest additions, nothing happens. I rebooted a couple of times but that didnt do anything. I also need help with sharing documents between ubuntu and virtual xp i'm not really sure how to set it up.

    Managed to sort out my problems, so solved
    Yes, sometimes Virtualbox do the installation but isn't obvious that is installed, Did you verify on control panel in install/uninstall programs? or in task bar an orange icon left to clock?

    About sharing is quite easy, go to menu devices|shared directories and select a real directory on your host machine. To achieve or see the shared directory from your virtual OS go to my networks places and there you should see a VMBoxADCDEF I don't remember, but is something like that. I hope that this information help you and exceuse for my bad english.
