My network setup is as follows:

I have a wireless-enabled cable modem [Linksys WCG200-CC] which by necessity is in the living room, as there is no cable jack in my study. In my study, I have a wired printer, and a desktop plugged into a switch, along with a Linksys router to serve addresses and provide NAT to the LAN.

I also have a small server that I would like to set up Ubuntu-Server on and plug into this switch [or the router itself] over ethernet, then use its wireless adapter to connect to the cable modem such that my LAN could access the Internet, and access the printer then over wireless.

Thank you for any suggestions please.
