    HelpPlease: Wireless Network won't connect

    Hi

I've recently installed Hardy as a dual boot with Vista on my Dell Inspiron 1525, first time I've used Ubuntu(or linux for that matter) so I'm a complete novice.

Anyway I'm having problems connecting to my wireless network.

I have tried Network Manager and wicd and both can see the network but when I try to connect I am unable to. I have also tried connecting when the network has no key and that had the same problem.

It all works fine when I connect on the wired connection.

Also I have had wireless on Hardy working on this laptop before but it suddenly stopped working after some updates went through (not sure what they were but I'm now running a fresh install)

I have an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG which should be compatible 'out the box' as far as I can tell from what I've read.

Can someone help me with this problem or point me in the direction of a solution.

    Cheers,

    Jack
