Brasero thinks every blank disc is full

I've got Brasero 0.6.1 in Ubuntu 7.10 and whenever I put in a blank CD-R it refuses to burn it, stating that there is 0 free space on the disc. Anyone else had this issue with Brasero?

Have you tried using Serpentine? Any difference?

It does this for me too. Serpentine works. Looks like https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ro/+bug/181703

That bug is definitely what I've run into. Maybe I'll try compiling 0.7.1 from source and see if I have better results.

I am getting sick of this buggy software. I think I will go to KDE soon.

And I think Ubuntu gets brasero installed by defaul, am I right? Why bother? Is not even 1.0

They are only wasting our time. The fact that it is open source does not mean we have to deal with all this stupid things. Get them right and then we talk.

I just install k3b. No need to go to KDE as a whole!
