What is the best MMPORG that can run on linux? One that you don't have to pay by the month for preferably. I'm looking at Regnum Online and the graphics look nice. Any suggestions? Ant.

Well, the most popular Windows MMPORG run quite well on Linux, so your choices are quite wide. Guild Wars, WoW, EVE, Vendetta, Regnum, and the list goes on.
I think World of Warcraft is the best... but I'm pretty biased since I'm so addicted.
Some people say I get too involved with the game, since I dress up to play it...doesn't everybody?
(PS: NOT really me ) But W.o.W is an awesome game.
Thats a pretty funny pic man, what about MMORPG's that you don't have to pay for?
I hear really good things about guild wars. You have to buy it, but no monthly subscription fee which is nice.
try Voyage Century - http://vc.igg.com/. it's quite unique.
I would say Runescape. They are about to come out with a new graphical mode that should be pretty cool.

Runescape is not bad to be honest, but it's not that great either. The player vs player action was limited a few months back in Runescape, and most "Player Killers" quit, including my self (this was before I had Ubuntu).
I'm also looking for a cool MMORPG (NOT TEXT BASED!) that works in Linux also...

I personally prefer EVE to any other MMO. I play WoW too, but wow just gets too repeditive. EVE offers so much more. They're about to release ambulation features (within the year). This allows you to physically walk around stations you land on.
www.eve-online.com
It's around the same price as WoW monthly.
Monopoly: Microsoft Edition! Only $699.99!
Thanks I'll check out guild wars, I don't like the idea of having to pay to play. Cheers
